ABOUT US

Who we are

We are NOT a virtual community
But a living society of men, women and children trying to learn virtue: that is How to live good lives after the model of Jesus of Nazareth

Our life together centres on the Sunday Morning Worship of the One Living God
in music, silence, prayer and interpretation of scripture, striving to honour God with our spirit, body and mind

We believe that God made everything that exists

That God's vision for humans and for all life is good.
By honouring God we honour this vision of our own capacity for moral behaviour.
That God creates harmony and inner peace for those who wholeheartedly seek it.

We seek a blueprint in the words of scripture, interpreted by the Spirit of God, discovered together

See our resplendent gallery of
stained glass windows
Most of all by looking to the life, teaching, sacrificial death and triumph over death of Jesus of Nazareth in Galilee.

This seeking after God is a lifetime's journey

Which can be lived with others, of all faiths, who share the Way and the Light

St Andrew's Frognal is a United Reformed Church
Springing from the broad Free Church family of Christian Churches in Britain
In the Protestant tradition
We join with Christians of other traditions to work locally and universally for Church unity and the peace of the human race
We are committed to cooperate for the relief of suffering in the many areas of our
Common life and we work through agencies like Christian Aid
We are concerned to support local people with Mental Health problems
And refugees and asylum seekers
We search for common understanding of ethical behaviour with people of other faiths (especially with Jews and Muslims who share many common revelations).

This site will show some of the human links we are making
